This is a more recent drawing, which I always wanted to call ‘Free Speech?’ – with the question mark at the end. It’s about social media, and how people can say anything they want online without thinking of the consequences. It seems like a lot of careers, reputations and lives have been ruined because of this. To me, the picture says ‘Think before you speak! It’s almost like a warning – watch what you say. In Thin Lizzy, the worst that could happen was something you said getting repeated in the gossip columns in the music papers. Back then, you could always reply – “Hey! We never said that!” Which we did many times. (ca.2008)
